Davokar - The Primordial Forest

Setting Source: Ruins of Symbaroum

Lore Overview

Davokar is no ordinary woods. It is an immense, hungry wilderness that reclaimed the ruins of the ancient Symbarian civilization centuries ago. The forest is divided into three concentric zones of escalating dread:

1. Bright Davokar: The outer rim, where settlers fell lumber, gather herbs, and salvage shallow crypts.
2. Dim Davokar: The middle reaches, shrouded in perpetual green gloom, where sunlight barely touches the earth and wild beasts speak in human tongues.
3. Dark Davokar: The black heart of the woods, where trees grow to petrified giants, the soil is soaked in black bile, and ancient monstrosities guard cyclopean stone palaces from the fallen empire.
